
Charlotte teaches at Salisbury Arts Centre (SAC); Riverbourne Community Farm, Laverstock; the Forest Arts Centre (FAC) in New Milton; White House Arts (WHA) in Cambridge as well as from her workshop in Wiltshire; and by arrangement at schools and other centres, and one-to-one sessions. Working with a life model on a series of exercises and studying the work of respected sculptors past and present. Includes wire drawings, working in relief, portraiture and lots of clay sketches and studies.

Short Course Details:

An intense study from life aiming to develop an understanding of the structure of the head and learn something of the character of the sitter
Working from a life-model to scale, producing a clay figure and preparing it for firing or casting. Aiming to increase understanding of anatomy and expression.
Working from a life model to understand the structure of the human form and what is needed to give internal support to a sculpture
Starting by making an accurate wire armature and building up with willow to make a lively animal figure
- Living Willow Animals for Gardens
Create life-sized beasts for the garden, as above. It is possible that the willow will take root and grow.
Working from life to produce relief sculptures in clay and prepare these for firing or casting
Using a plaster waste-mould to produce a cement model from a clay head.

Workshops with schools, special needs groups and community groups are held inside or in the fresh air and use mainly natural materials, involving elements of environmental education.
